Day 24 Dogtober - Pluto

Today is another classic pup, this time from Disney. I freehanded this little Pluto out of Bernant Baby Velvet for my friend's Birthday.
I made him have a cute lying down position similar to his TsumTsum but with more shape to his body.

There are still more free patterns to come for the end of Dogtober so as always keep an eye on my blog or follow me on instagram @MarikoHamade this month for more Dogtober showcases and free patterns.

Day 18 Dogtober - Blues Clues

Today I offer you another freehand for Dogtober. A tiny little Blue from Blues Clues. Tomorrow is a big one so I had to save some time. Blues Clues was one of my favourite shows when I was younger, and the Humongous Entertainment games were a staple and still kind of are in my life lol. This Blue is based off of art of her used in the ABC Song from Blues Clues & You!
I hope you all are enjoying all the free patterns so far but sometimes I gotta have a little break!

Day 15 Dogtober - Makkachin from Yuri on Ice

Welcome back to Dogtober. For today I freehanded a little pup. I've been super busy and I hope you've been enjoying all the free patterns so far. There's been a couple more complex ones that have really killed me to get done is such a short amount of time so I am thankful for simple dogs like Makkachin.
Thank you for all the support so far. I hope I can make it through all them until the end of the month. 😅

Day 10 Dogtober - Inugami Korone

Hi guys! Today for Dogtober I present Inugami Korone from Hololive. I know nothing about this character other than my partner retweets a lot of art on Twitter lol. I freehanded her and her hair gave me nightmares, as well as her face, I had no clue what to do for it. But I think her outfit was quite cute and fun to make.

Day 6 Dogtober - WobbleDogs!

It's Dogtober time again. I dont have a pattern for you today, but actually a game recommendation, WobbleDogs. It is available on Steam in Early Access and it's the strangest and wackiest thing I've ever played in a long time. I put this on the Dogtober list purely because I like it and want more people to know about it. My partner bought it for me for my birthday and I've had a really good time with it. In the game you get to breed and mutate these dog-like creatures. This is just a pure stream of consciousness because I need a break from writing patterns for a day but I hope you enjoy my wobbly dog.

He was made with Craft Smart Value Yarn and was entirely freehanded. His rectangular body is kind of wonky, I find it really hard to crochet and stuff cube or flat sided shapes. It's something I need to work on. If anyone had any recommendations on ways to make better cubes in Amigurumi please lmk!

Day 3 Dogtober - Snoopy

Hello again and welcome back to Dogtober! I hope you are all enjoying it so far and maybe even want to participate as well. Today's prompt is good old Snoopy from Peanuts. When I think of Snoopy I think of three people in my life, my wonderful Grandma Teri who had an old Snoopy plush from the 70s on her couch for the longest time, my dear friend Kayla who just loves this pup and has a large Snoopy I made for her a year ago which I will post a photo of below, and finally my online mutual since back in the Tumblr days Bethany who never fails to retweet the Snoopy content onto my timeline.

Today I offer you two different Snoopys, the very large one I made for my friend Kayla last year, and a very tiny Snoopy I made for her desk at work this year. I hope they both bring her joy, and I hope they make you smile as well.

Tiny Snoopy was made with Lion's Brand A Star is Born: Naptime Yarn in white and Bernat Velvet in Blackbird.

Large Snoopy was made with Charisma™ Yarn by Loops & Threads® in white, and Bernat Velvet in Blackbird.

Unfortunately, both of these guys were free-handed so I don't have a pattern to offer today, but if anyone is interested I may make another of the tiny Snoopy and write up the pattern for him then, let me know if that is something that is wanted.
