Day 23 Dogtober - FREE KK Slider (Animal Crossing) Pattern

Today for Dogtober I offer you another large doll pattern, this one from Animal Crossing. KK Slider stands approximately 7 inches tall and this pattern comes with a pattern for an acoustic guitar but you can make him without it. As always my patterns are written in US crochet terms.

Materials:
  • Crochet Hook (3.25mm)
  • Yarn needle
  • Felting needle
  • Medium weight yarn in white, red brown, light brown and grey/black.
  • Cotton embroidery thread in grey/silver.
  • Felt in black, grey, brown and white
  • Glue

Legs (x2):
In white.
1: MR5 (5)
2: INC x5 (10)

5: PC, 1SC, PC, 1SC, PC, BLO 10SC (15)
6-13: SC15 (15)

Body:
Join both legs together at round 14 and SC in the round to make the tum.

KK Assembly:
  • Sew arms on to side of body.
  • Sew ears on top of head.
  • Use black and grey felt to make face.
  • Sew head onto body.

In Light Brown.

Guitar side:
In red brown.
1: CH26 turn.
2: HDC25 Finish off.

Guitar Arm Front:
In red brown.
1: CH11 turn.
2: SC7, HDC1, DC1, DC3IN1, DC1, HDC1, SC7, finish off.

Guitar Arm Back:
In red brown.
1: CH8 turn.
2: SC4, HDC1, DC, DC3in1, DC1, HDC1, SC4. finish off.

Guitar Strap:
In black or grey.
1: CH28 turn.
2: HDC27, finish off.

Guitar Assembly:
  • Using back loops only sew the guitar side to both front and back.
  • Sew both guitar arm front and guitar arm back together. 
  • Sew the guitar arm on to guitar body with the longer part over lapping the face of the guitar.
  • Using felt and cotton thread add details to the face of the guitar.
  • Attach strap to each side of the guitar so KK can wear it.

Put the guitar on KK and he's done! Enjoy your new friend.
