Today for Dogtober I offer you another free pattern. He's small in the same scale as my Odie pattern and my Snoopy (which I plan to write up a pattern for later) so you could make a small collection of cartoon pups! I made mine with milk cotton as I have an abundance of coral milk cotton, but I recommend acrylic as it is way easier to work with. As always my patterns are written in US crochet terms.
Materials:- Medium weight yarn in coral and dark brown.
- 3.25mm crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- White and black felt
- Black fine tip permanent marker
- Glue
Body:
1: MR6 (6)

Nose:
In brown
1: CH3, turn.
2: SC1, DC1, CH2, SL back into CH, Finish off.
Ears (x2):
In brown.
1: CH9, turn
2: In second CH from hook, DC2, HDC2, SC1, SL3, Finish off.
Assembly:
- Sew head to body, with cheeks above the arms.
- Sew muzzle to head.
- Sew nose in between muzzle bumps.
- Sew ears on head.
- Use white, black felt and marker to make eyes and glue them on.
- Draw of whisker spots with fine tip marker
- Use black marker and white felt to make back patches.
And he's done! Enjoy your new friend.
